Kerri was born and raised in Somerville, MA. She studied Design and Printmaking at Boston University and worked for a spell as a corporate in-house designer.

She holds the following in high regard: wandering, snow, tacos, science fiction, animation, animals, and museums.
 
She is happiest when making things and believes in color, color, and more color.
